Ryan D. Byers joined Rammelkamp Bradney in 2008 after receiving a bachelor’s degree with high departmental distinction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduating magna cum laude from the Michigan State University College of Law.
Ryan’s practice primarily focuses on civil litigation, including representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury actions, construction claims, and contested wills and estates.
During his career, he has handled multiple jury trials and appeals, appearing in cases in more than thirty counties throughout Illinois.
Ryan is also admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois, the Federal District Court for the Central District of Illinois and the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Additionally, Ryan has been interviewed on legal topics for several publications, being quoted in Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, and Business Insider, among others.
Outside of the office, Ryan spends a significant amount of time volunteering, including as a past President of the Rotary Club of Jacksonville as well as on the boards of organizations such as Prairieland United Way, the Jacksonville Promise, and Pathway Services Unlimited, Inc.
