Joseph A. Hughs joined Rammelkamp Bradney in 2022 and currently focuses his practice on civil litigation. Joseph received his Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Missouri, and stayed at Mizzou for his law degree, where he graduated in the top 25% of his class.

Prior to joining Rammelkamp, Joseph worked at a top mid-Missouri personal injury firm handling a multitude of high stakes litigation matters. In addition to playing a pivotal role in many six figure settlements, Joseph won his first jury trial against the state of Missouri within less than a year after receiving his license to practice law.

In his practice at Rammelkamp Bradney, Joseph represents both individuals and corporate clients in obtaining favorable results in important litigation matters. This includes matters for both individuals and corporate clients and defendants in personal injury, employment discrimination, worker’s compensation, insurance coverage, mechanic’s liens, construction, real estate, fraud, and breach of contract. In addition, Joseph assists corporate clients with their corporate structure, employment policies, contracts, and other important non-litigation business matters to that they can avoid lawsuits before they begin.

Joseph grew up just outside of Springfield and attended Pleasant Plains High School. He now lives in Jacksonville with his wife Rachel and their daughter Elise.
